About Us
Established in 2021, we have grown to a team of over 60 enthusiastic, committed volunteers. We collect 7 days a week from local retailers.
Our mission is to collect and redistribute as much food surplus as possible in the Newtown area. We aim both to minimise food waste and to battle food poverty.
Food Shares are generally held from 10.30 each Monday & Friday at the Robert Owen Scout Hall in Newtown. Please check the latest information on Facebook.

We also pass food to organisations who help feed people in the Newtown area. We supply Newtown Community Cafe and work with local schools.
